Issue description
When launching Archicad on macOS, users may repeatedly encounter security pop-up messages asking to "Allow incoming network connections." These messages can persist even after granting access, causing disruptions during normal use.
Solution
This issue may be caused by a problem with the installed Graphisoft License Manager Tool (LMT) or may require adjustments in macOS System Preferences (Firewall and Security settings). Follow the steps below to resolve the issue. Test the application after each step to check if the problem is resolved before moving on.
Uninstall the License Manager Tool (LMT)
- macOS: Open Finder > Applications > GRAPHISOFT > License Manager Tool > Uninstall.LMT and run the uninstaller.
- Windows: Open Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features, right-click Graphisoft License Manager Tool, and select Uninstall.
Download the latest LMT installer
Download the LMT installer from: Graphisoft License Manager Tool download page
Reinstall the LMT
- Install the downloaded LMT.
- Select the option to restart the computer later.
Relaunch Archicad
- Quit Archicad if it is running.
- Launch Archicad again and check if the pop-ups persist.
Allow Archicad Starter in Firewall rules
- Open Finder > Applications > Archicad 26.
- Right-click the Archicad 26 application and select Show Package Contents.
- Navigate to Contents > MacOS.

Drag the Archicad Starter application into the macOS Firewall rules list to explicitly allow it.

Create an alias of Archicad Starter
- Right-click Archicad Starter and choose Make Alias.
- Move the Alias to a visible directory, such as Applications > Archicad 26 application folder.

Grant Security & Privacy permissions
- Open System Preferences > Security & Privacy.
- Under the Privacy tab, add the Archicad Starter alias to both:
- Accessibility

Final step
Drag the Archicad Starter application alias to the System Preferences > Security & Privacy application > Privacy tab Accessibility and Full Disk Access areas.
