Issue description
You need to use your software license on a different computer. The license is currently active on one device and unavailable for use on the target machine.
Solution
A software key is bound to a single computer at any given time. To transfer it between devices you must first return (upload) the license to the company license pool from the current computer and then retrieve (download) it on the new one.
The License Manager Tool is automatically installed with the software and manages all software-based licenses. An internet connection and your Graphisoft ID are required for both upload and download operations.
Upload the software key from the current computer
Open the License Manager Tool on the computer where the license is currently active.
Sign in with your Graphisoft ID if prompted.
Select the active software key from the available protection keys list.
Click Upload to return the license to the Company License Pool.
Wait for the confirmation message indicating the upload was successful.
Note: After uploading you must wait a few minutes before the key becomes available for download.
Download the software key to the new computer
Open the License Manager Tool on the target computer.
Sign in with the same Graphisoft ID used during the upload.
Locate the Software Key in the available protection keys list. Keys in the pool display a cloud icon.
Select the key and click Download.
Wait for the confirmation message indicating the license is now active on this device.
Tip: Use the Refresh button if the uploaded key does not appear immediately in the list.
