How can I display beams with override fills instead of hidden lines in structural framing plans?

Issue description

You create a structural framing plan and beams beneath slabs display as dashed hidden lines. You see override fills applied but they remain invisible in the view.

Solution

The hidden-line under slab option in Model View Options forces beams under slabs to show as dashed lines and prevents fills from displaying. Disabling this setting lets you highlight beams with fills.

1. Go to Document > Model View > Model View Options
   
2. Expand the Construction Element Options tab.
3. Find the Beam section.
4. Uncheck the Hidden Line under Slab option.
   
5. Click OK to apply.

Tip: Create a separate Model View Combination for this type of plan to avoid conflicts with other plans using the same combination.
