Exterior window or door casing pushed to wall edge

Issue description

The exterior casing is being pushed to the edge of the window instead of sitting within the reveal of the wall.

When the Reveal option is disabled in the Model View Options, the wall reveal is removed in 2D. As a result, the opening where the casing would normally sit is filled, leaving no recess within the wall. This causes the exterior casing to be pushed to the outer edge of the wall.

Solution

Enable the Reveal option in the DETAIL LEVEL OF DOOR AND WINDOW SYMBOLS tab of the Model View Options.

Steps:

1. Navigate to Document> Model View> Model View Options…
2. Select the desired Model View Combination
3. Open the DETAIL LEVEL OF DOOR AND WINDOW SYMBOLS tab.
4. Enable the 'Reveal' button.
5. Click OK to apply changes.
