Issue description
When you copy and paste a label in a project, the duplicated label maintains its association to the original element instead of the new element you want it to label; it might show the correct position and pointer direction, but still displays the information of the original.
Solution
This occurs because copied labels retain their original associativity settings. By default, when labels are copied they maintain their connection to the source element rather than establishing a new association.
To reassociate a copied label to a different element:
- Select the copied label that needs to be reassociated to a new element.
- Hold the CMD key (on Mac) or CTRL key (on Windows).
- Click on the element you want the label to associate with while holding the CMD/CTRL key. The label will now display information from the newly associated element.
