Issue description
When working in Archicad, all models suddenly display as transparent blue elements. The typical palette options do not appear when selecting nodes, and standard troubleshooting methods such as checking Layer, Graphic Override, Design Option, and Renovation Filter settings do not resolve the issue.
Solution
This issue occurs because the Structural Analytical Model view mode has been enabled. This mode is designed for structural analysis workflows and displays a simplified analytical representation of load-bearing elements in a transparent blue color.
To disable the Structural Analytical Model and return to the normal model view:
Method 1:
- Navigate to View > Structural Analytical Model Options to toggle the option on and off from the dropdown menu.
Method 2:
This option is also part of the View Settings on your View Map. To disable this permanently,
- Go to View Settings
- Under Structural Analysis tab, disable Structural Analytical Model.
Once disabled, your model will return to its standard display mode with full palette functionality restored.
