Composite needs an 'Air Space' skin set so that it no longer participates in collision detection

Issue Description

My composite contains an Air Space gap that is needed to house the steel frame.  How do I stop the Air Space skin from flagging as a clash?

Solution

To set a material so it no longer participates in collision detection in Archicad, follow these steps:

1. Open Building Material Settings. Go to Options > Attributes.
2. In the Attributes dialog choose the Attribute and then the Material you want to modify from the list.
3. Locate the checkbox labeled "Participates in Collision Detection" (found in the Classification and Properties settings pane).
4. Uncheck the "Participates in Collision Detection" box to exclude the material from collision detection.
5. Click OK to save and apply your changes.

The selected building material will no longer be involved in collision detection calculations during exports or simulations.
