Composite needs an 'Air Space' skin set so that it no longer participates in collision detection

Issue Description

My composite contains an Air Space gap that is needed to house the steel frame.  How do I stop the Air Space skin from flagging as a clash?

Solution

To set a material so it no longer participates in collision detection in Archicad, follow these steps:

1. Open Building Material Settings:

   • Go to Options > Attributes > Building Materials.

2. Select the Material:

   • In the Building Materials dialog, choose the material you want to modify from the list.

3. Edit Collision Detection Settings:

   • Locate the checkbox labeled "Participates in Collision Detection" (usually found in the material's settings pane).
   • Uncheck this box to exclude the material from collision detection.

4. Apply Changes:

   • Click OK to save your changes.

The selected building material will no longer be involved in collision detection calculations during exports or simulations.
