Issue description
When attempting to publish a BIMx Hyper-Model directly from Archicad to the BIMx Transfer Site, you may encounter an error that prevents the upload from completing due to backend verification issues, such as an invalid license validation or an unrecognized license status. Below are the necessary steps on how to check your license status and a workaround for active licenses with persistent upload issues.
Solution
Check License Validation
To publish directly to the BIMx Transfer Site, your account must have a recognized, active service contract or subscription.
| Eligible Active Service Contract Subscriptions | Eligible Active Subscriptions: |
|---|---|
Software Service Agreement (SSA) for Archicad |
Archicad Studio |
| Graphisoft Forward | Archicad Collaborate |
| Archicad Collaborate Global | |
| BIMcloud (on-premises) | |
| DDScad Electrical Collaborate | |
| MEP Designer Studio |
How to check your eligibility:
Open Archicad.
From the top menu, navigate to Help > License Information.
In the dialog box, locate and Subscription Benefits and see if the status is set as Active.
If the status is Active, you should be able to publish directly to the BIMx Transfer Site.
Workaround if the publishing still fails
If your license is valid and updated but the direct upload still fails, you can bypass the Archicad publishing error by uploading the file manually.
Publish Locally: Change your publishing settings in Archicad to save the BIMx Hyper-Model locally to your computer's hard drive.
Upload Manually: Open your web browser, navigate to the BIMx Transfer Site, and upload your saved file directly.
