Issue description
After updating to macOS Tahoe (26.4), you may notice that direct numeric input in the Tracker or distance fields may behave unexpectedly.
In some cases, Archicad automatically inserts a unit or decimal symbol after the first digit. For example:
- Metric (decimal):
, - Imperial units:
'or"
In other cases, the Tracker may not respond immediately when typing.
Solution
Start Tracker input using an alternative method
After starting a command, press R, D, or Tab before entering any values to activate the Tracker input (Radius, Distance, or the next input field). Then enter your values.
Alternatively, if you need more control over direction, hold the Shift key while moving the element to constrain it orthogonally. Then press R or D and enter your values. (Shift + Tab cycles to the previous Tracker field and does not behave the same as Shift + R or Shift + D.)
