How can I add custom text to a Schedule?

Solution

There are two methods to add a Custom text field in Archicad Schedules

Method 1: Adding custom fields to your scheme

1. In Schedule Scheme Settings, click Add fields and search for Custom text.

2. Use one of the ten available Custom Text fields in your schedule.

   

Method 2: Using custom properties

1. Go to Options > Property Manager.

   

2. In Property Manager, click New..., name your property, and click OK.

   

3. Set Data type to String, set Default Value to Undefined, and Assign availability for relevant classifications (such as Doors and Windows), then click OK.
   
4. Go back to your Schedule's Scheme Settings.
5. In Add fields, search for and add your new property to the schedule.
