Issue Description
You have created a floor plan view, but it appears blank when you transfer it to your layout sheet.
Solution
If your views appear blank in Archicad, several common issues could be causing this problem.
1. Open up the Drawing Selection Settings, and select Fit Frame to drawing.
If you notice that your viewing frame has shifted away from the layout sheet but the view has returned, simply drag the frame back onto the layout sheet. Once repositioned, the view will stay within this frame.
2. If your model is located far from the Origin, select "Use Drawing's Internal Origin" to reposition the view within the frame.
If none of the above work you can try:
External References
- Problem: If the view includes external references or linked files, these might not be loading properly.
- Solution: Verify that all external references or linked files are correctly loaded and displayed.
Zoom and Pan Settings
- Problem: The view might be zoomed out or panned in a way that the elements are out of sight.
- Solution: Zoom and pan to ensure that the view is focused on the area where the elements should appear.
Drawing Update Issues
- Problem: The drawing might not have updated correctly on the layout sheet.
- Solution: Manually update or refresh the drawing on the layout sheet. Right-click the drawing and select "Update."
View Filters
- Problem: Filters applied to the view might be excluding certain elements.
- Solution: Check if any filters are applied to the view that might be excluding elements you need. Adjust or remove these filters if necessary.
Drawing Scale
- Problem: The scale of your drawing might be set too small or too large, causing the elements to appear outside the visible area.
- Solution: Verify the drawing scale in both the view and the layout sheet. Adjust the scale to ensure that the elements fit within the viewable area.
