Issue description
When launching Archicad, you might encounter a message "Cannot create temporary documents"
Solution
This is due to AutoSave folders not properly clearing out within your preference files. If you manually delete these AutoSave folders Archicad will launch normally.
Note: We recommend you make copies or move files to a different location before final deletion. Keep these copies until you are sure you do not need them.
macOS:
Quit Archicad
Click on Finder to make it active.
At the top of the screen click the Go menu
Hold the Option key on your keyboard and Library will appear in the menu.
Now go to /Application Support/Graphisoft
Select all folders with AutoSave in the folder name.
Copy or move the files to another location on your computer temporarily for safe keeping.
Start Archicad.
Windows:
Quit Archicad
Go to C:\Users\<your username>\Graphisoft
Select all folders with AutoSave in the folder name.
Copy or move the files to another location on your computer temporarily for safe keeping.
Start Archicad.
