Cross- Version Collaboration: Working with Different Archicad Versions on BIMcloud

I want to collaborate with a fellow student using a different Archicad version. What should I do?

Solution

To ensure successful collaboration in Archicad,  all team members use the same Archicad version, language, and build number. Here is how you can verify what version each member is using:

1. In Archicad, go to the Help menu and select License Information to check your version and build number. Alternatively, you can view it via Help > About Archicad...
2. If differences exist, each user should update Archicad by opening the Help menu and selecting Check for Updates.
3. Verify that the language version codes match for all collaborators.
