Issue Description
When you zoom in on a plan, fills appear tiny even though they are set to scale with the drawing and display in true appearance. This issue can make details difficult to read and interpret.
Solution
The problem occurs because the True Fill Appearance option is not enabled for on-screen display. By default, fills are set to display as true fills, but this setting can be toggled off, causing them to appear as tiny or distorted when zoomed in.
To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
-
Enable True Fill Appearance:
- Go to View > On-Screen View Options.
- Ensure that True Fill Appearance is active. This will ensure that fills are displayed accurately on screen, maintaining their intended size and pattern when zooming in.
-
Adjust Fill Scaling:
- If fills still appear too small or large, check their scaling settings:
- Go Options > Element Attributes > Fills...
- Find the fill you want to adjust
- Expand the Appearance section in the right panel.
- Here you can set the fill type to be Scale-independent (Paper size) if you want its pattern to remain the same size regardless of the zoom level, or Scale with plan (Model size) if you want it to scale proportionally with each View.
