Issue Description
In highly detailed floor plans with multiple annotations and dimensions, extra lines, such as roof pivot lines can quickly become confusing, particularly when they extend beyond the intended roof boundaries. These lines can blend in with other elements, creating visual clutter that makes the drawing harder to read. How can these unwanted lines be hidden or managed to keep the floor plan clear and focused?
Solution
Roof pivot lines in Archicad indicate the hinge or reference line along which the roof slope is established. This pivot point is crucial for defining the geometry of the roof, especially when editing the direction of pitch or slope. While roof pivot lines do not appear on published outputs, they are visible by default in the working view, which may interfere with drafting clarity. However, turning it on/off can be toggled in View > On-Screen View Options > Roof Pivot Lines.
