How to set the position for a window in a profiled wall?

Issue description

The window appears correctly placed in the floor plan, but its position does not match in the 3D view. This issue occurs when the opening reference line is not set correctly in a profiled wall. How can you adjust the window placement so it displays correctly in both views?

Solution

To correct the window placement in a profiled wall, adjust the opening reference line in the Profile Manager. Follow these steps:

1. Select the profiled wall, right-click, and choose Edit Selected Composite/Profile.

   

2. In Profile Manager, go to the Design Layers tab and enable the Opening Reference layer.

3. Align the opening reference lines (shown in red) on both sides of the main wall. These lines define the position of the window opening in 3D.

   

4. Click Save, then close Profile Manager to apply the changes.

5. If the reference lines were set correctly, the window should now display properly in 3D, as shown below.
