How to set and show the stair’s headroom in section drawings?

Steps to set the stair headroom:

1. In your 3D model or plan view, select the stairs you need to check for headroom clearance. Right-click on the selected stair and choose Stair Selection Settings from the context menu or simply access it through the toolbar.
2. In the Stair Selection Settings dialog box, go to the Headroom tab under Rules and Standards. This section allows for the customization of headroom-related parameters. Enter the required headroom clearance height based on local building codes or project-specific standards. The value you input here will be the minimum headroom height that Archicad will reference for that specific stair.

Steps to show the stair headroom in section:

Once the headroom value is set, follow these steps to display it in section drawings:

1. Access model view options: Go to Document > Model View > Model View Options to adjust how model elements are displayed.
2. Select the stair options tab: In the Model View Options dialog, navigate to the Stair Options tab, which contains a variety of display settings specific to stairs.
3. Enable headroom display: Within the Stair Options tab, find the option labeled Headroom and select it to enable the display of the headroom clearance in section views. This option ensures that the headroom clearance is graphically represented in the section drawing. Click OK to confirm.
