Issue description

If the BIM Manager or administrator cannot log in to BIMcloud Basic Manager, you can use the built-in Master Administrator account to regain access. The login name is masteradmin, and the password is set manually by the person who configured the BIMcloud Basic instance during installation.

This account is for emergency access only. It cannot be used from Archicad to work on Teamwork projects. Its only purpose is to provide access to BIMcloud Basic Manager with full server administrator rights when you cannot access it with any other user account. 

If you have forgotten the masteradmin password, you can reset it on the computer where BIMcloud Basic Manager is installed.

Solution

Windows

1. Go to the BIMcloud Basic computer.
2. Find the BIMcloud icon in the Windows system tray.
3. Right-click the icon and choose BIMcloud Manager > Configure.
4. Enter a new masteradmin password and confirm it.
5. Click Restart.
6. Open BIMcloud Basic Manager in a web browser.
7. Log in with the user name masteradmin and the new password.

macOS

1. Go to the BIMcloud Basic computer.
2. Find the BIMcloud icon in the macOS menu bar.
3. Click the icon and choose {BIMcloud Address} - BIMcloud Basic for Archicad ## > BIMcloud Manager (Manager-yyyy-mm-dd) > Configure.
4. Enter the macOS administrator password if prompted.
5. Enter a new masteradmin password and confirm it.
6. Click Restart.
7. Open BIMcloud Basic Manager in a web browser.
8. Log in with the user name masteradmin and the new password.

After logging in, reset or restore access for a regular administrator account. Use masteradmin only for emergency access.
