Issue description
You need to locate beginner-level training resources for Archicad but are unsure where to find official starter courses that provide a proper introduction to the software.
Solution
The official Archicad foundation courses are available on the Graphisoft Learn Portal, which is Graphisoft's centralized learning platform.
Follow these steps to access the starter courses:
- Go to the Graphisoft Learn Portal.
- Click on Log in in the upper right-hand corner of the homepage.
- Choose the GRAPHISOFT ID Login option.

Enter your Graphisoft ID credentials (email address and password)
(If you don't have a Graphisoft ID, create one at https://id.graphisoft.com/user/register)
- Once logged in, navigate to the Catalog section
- Select New to Archicad from the catalog options
- Browse through the available foundation courses in this section.
The New to Archicad section includes several foundation courses designed specifically for beginners:
- Getting Started with Archicad (separate versions for CAD, Revit, and SketchUp users)
- Start Modeling with Archicad
- Get Started with Project Documentation in Archicad
- Share Your Archicad Project with BIMx
- Take Your Schematic Model to the Next Stage with Archicad
- Teamwork in Archicad
- Archicad Knowledge Assessment
These self-paced video courses will guide your first steps in Archicad, helping you become familiar with the software's interface and the basics of modeling and documentation. Completing this onboarding path will make you a confident Archicad user at a foundation level and take you closer to obtaining your own Graphisoft issued Archicad BIM User certification.
Some foundation courses are free for all users, some others are free for users with SSA/Forward contracts, and educational license users. You can find more information in the course description.
The foundation courses are designed for architects and designers who would like to get started with BIM in Archicad.
