Note: The archive options mentioned in this article are necessary for library or template-related queries to access the complete library in its original state.
Step 1: Prepare the file
Before saving the file, please open the view or layout where the issue occurs and close any unnecessary tabs.
If relevant, add simple markups, such as polylines, labels, or text, to clearly identify what is not working. This will help us locate and review the issue more quickly.
Step 2: Save the File
- Use the File > Save As command.
- From the appearing Save dialog box, choose Archicad Archive Projects (*.pla) from the Save as type/Format drop-down.

Click the Options button to access the Archive Options dialog box.
- In the Archive Options dialog, make sure to set the following:
- Loaded Libraries is checked ON.

Compress File is checked OFF.
