Subscriptions for Archicad and BIMcloud, purchased in the Graphisoft Store, use modern “cloud-licensing” technology. This is a specific technical solution to software licensing. It is called “cloud” because Graphisoft hosts the license in the cloud, and you can manage access through a web interface.
The user- and license-management for a cloud-licensed BIMcloud SaaS is not handled in the BIMcloud SaaS Manager's web interface but in a separate Company- and License-Management portal.

When you purchase a subscription with BIMcloud and you set up your BIMcloud SaaS (define a domain name in the Company&BIMcloud menu in the Store), then every Graphisoft ID Company member will automatically appear as a BIMcloud user in your BIMcloud SaaS. The Graphisoft ID Company Administrator will become your BIMcloud Administrator (differentiated with the little blue star), who has full access to the BIMcloud SaaS.
Note: Manual user creation is not possible in a cloud license-based BIMcloud SaaS.
BIMcloud users accessing BIMcloud SaaS use their Graphisoft ID credentials to sign in.
From the BIMcloud SaaS Manager web interface, the BIMcloud administrator can access the Company management portal with the Manage users command. This command redirects to the Company Management portal, where the contract manager or the administrator can invite or remove members from the company.
The administrator role can be transferred to another member of the GSID Company on the Company Management portal.
Some personal user settings on BIMcloud - such as "Full name" and "Email" - are synced from the Graphisoft ID profile, and the Manage profile command is available for every user to manage their own Graphisoft ID profile on the Company Management portal. The color and the photo of the users can be specified in the BIMcloud Saas Manager.

Every Graphisoft ID Company member will be automatically synced to BIMcloud SaaS. However, they won't be able to log in without a license assigned to them.
Standalone Archicad and BIMcloud subscription licenses can be used as named licenses, but Archicad Collaborate licenses can work as floating licenses.
You can manage your cloud licenses at the Graphisoft ID Company level. Your administrator can assign or revoke licenses, or create groups for floating functionality, on the License Management portal.
In the BIMcloud SaaS Manager web interface, on every user's profile and in the BIMcloud Manager panel, the Manage Licenses command is visible to administrators to manage licenses on the License Management portal.
Supported Archicad versions
Cloud-license-based BIMcloud SaaS can support Teamwork projects from Archicad 22. If you have active projects created with earlier versions, upgrade them to at least Archicad 22.
However, by default, BIMcloud SaaS uses a so-called "Modern" authentication mode, which provides a higher security level but results in limited compatibility: it supports projects from Archicad version 27 and up, and DDScad version 19 and up.
If you also want to work with older projects (Archicad 22 and above), you can switch to the "Legacy" authentication mode in the BIMcloud Manager settings at any time.
In the case of BIMcloud SaaS, "Legacy" refers to an authentication method that enables BIMcloud to connect to older versions of Archicad and DDScad. It is the same, secure method that BIMcloud has used in the past. However, its security level is no longer updated; when connecting to older-version projects, the protocol is not as up-to-date as the "Modern" method.
