Description
When using fills to represent floor coverings in a floor plan, other elements such as furniture and fixtures may be obscured. Is there a way to make these fills transparent so they don't cover other objects?
Solution
To make Fills have a transparent background, you need to change the Fill background pen to transparent. This setting can be accessed in the Info Box or inside the Fill Selection Settings.

In the Info box, look for the Fill Pen section beside the Fill Type. Change the value of the Fill Background pen to “0”.
This is represented as a circle with diagonal slash (Ø) in the Penset.
