Door leaf appears solid on 3D even when it is set to glass panel or grid

Issue Description 

You have changed the leaf type of your Door , but when you open a 3D view,  to  door symbols is still displaying as solid.

Solution

The Model View Options combination in your 3D View is overriding the detail level of your Door. To correct this:

1. Go to Document>Model View>Model View Options...
2. Expand the tab: Detail Level of Door, Window and Skylight Symbols
3. Set the option for the 3D and Section/Elevation to Full.
