Issue description
If Archicad can't find your Software License Key at startup, it could be due to several reasons.
Steps to follow
Where was your software key last located?
Visit the Graphisoft ID site and sign in.
Click Licenses to see a list of your licenses and their most recent activity.
Click the arrow on the left side to expand the details.
If you learn the license is on another computer, log into that computer and use the License Manager Tool to upload your license. After it is successfully uploaded, you may then download the license to another computer.
Was the computer involved in any of the following?
The computer was replaced with a new one.
The old computer is no longer available or has been wiped.
Computer operating system restored via Time Machine or other full system backup.
The computer was sent into the repair shop for service.
If you answer "yes" to any of the questions above, then it is likely your software key is destroyed. Please contact Technical Support, and we will assist you in getting your license replaced.
Other problems
If neither of the above situations applies, and your software key was last used on the same computer, but you are still unable to launch Archicad, please submit a detailed request through our support portal or contact your local distributor for assistance.
