A simplified interface for the stair options in Model View Options and extended Partial Structure Display settings give you more control over how Stairs are displayed.
Partial structure display for stairs
You can turn the display of Stair finishes on or off for each view. You can also assign the Core, Finish or Other category to Tread and Riser components. The same applies to Beam, Cantilever and Stringer structures.
This lets you control which parts of the Stair are visible depending on the selected Partial Structure Display option. For example, you can hide the finishes while the load-bearing structure remains visible.
This is especially useful for creating simplified model views or preparing a reduced model for export.
Simplified model view options for stairs and railings
The Detail Level of Stair and Railing Symbols section in Model View Options is now easier to use thanks to clear visual presets. Each setting includes a preview diagram of the display options.
The Grid setting has been expanded. You can now control the visible and hidden parts separately.
The most common symbol controls are grouped into four visual areas: Grid, Structure, Walking Line and Numbering and Railing Symbol. Clear icons let you choose the display option for each area.
If needed you can still click Advanced Settings... to open the newly reorganized page with the complete set of stair and railing symbol controls.
