Issue description
Camera icons and view cones are displayed on your Floor Plan view, cluttering the drawing space and making it difficult to work or clearly visualize the floor plan.
Solution
Cameras cannot be assigned to layers to control their visibility, so the only way to hide them is through the Display options setting in the Camera Tool settings. By default cameras are visible to help you position and manage your perspective views.
Follow these steps to hide cameras in floor plan view:
- Open Camera Tool settings
- Click the Path button at the bottom left of the Camera Settings dialog box
- In the Path Options dialog box, locate the Display Options section
- Change the Display Options setting from the current selection to None
- Click OK to confirm the Path Options and return to Camera Settings
The cameras will now be completely hidden from the floor plan view. This setting applies to the current camera path and all cameras within that path.
Managing Multiple Camera Paths
If you work with multiple camera paths you can create a dedicated path called "No Cameras" for when you want cameras hidden. Set this as your first camera path and don't place any cameras on it. Switch to this path when you want to work without camera visibility.
