Issue description
When copying objects from an Archicad 27 (or earlier) project that uses the Monolith Library into an Archicad 28 project that uses the Global Library, pasted objects appear as missing and are represented by placeholder circles.
Solution
Archicad 28 introduces a new Global Library system that is not compatible with the Monolith Library used in previous versions. Because of this, copy/pasting objects from an Archicad 27 (or prior) file using the Monolith Library may appear as missing in Archicad 28.
- Do not copy/paste library elements from Archicad 27 or earlier into Archicad 28 projects.
- Instead, rebuild those elements using Archicad 28’s Global Library components.
- Alternatively, if you need to reuse content from an older project, you can save the elements as Favorites in the older file and use the Favorite Converter tool in Archicad 28 or above to convert them for use with the Global Library.
