Issue Description
Sliding door arrows do not appear in the floor plan view, making it impossible to determine which leaf of the sliding door is movable and which direction it slides towards.
Solution
Sliding door arrows are controlled globally through Model View Options rather than individual door settings. The arrows indicate which leaf slides and in which direction, helping distinguish movable panels from fixed ones.
- Go to Document > Model View > Model View Options.
- In the Model View Options dialog, expand the Detail Level of Door and Window Symbols panel.
- Find the Opening Line (Floor Plan) section.
- Set the Sliding Doors option to Arrow instead of None.
- Choose your preferred line type and pen settings for the arrows.
- Click OK to apply the changes.
Keep in mind that the arrow display depends on your loaded library. Some regional libraries (such as USA libraries) may have limited arrow support compared to International libraries.
For Archicad Libraries 27 and earlier, it is possible to use individual door overrides. You can access the Opening Lines tab in the door's Custom Settings panel after activating Override Model View Options.
