Issue description
The Pan functionality allows you to navigate around your drawing by dragging with a hand cursor; when attempting to pan your View you notice the hand tool that was previously accessible from the bottom toolbar is missing from your interface.
Solution
The Pan toolbar was removed from the default toolbar configuration in recent Archicad versions. You can still access the Pan functionality by manually adding it back to your interface through the Toolbars menu.
- Click on Window in the top menu bar
- Select Toolbars from the dropdown menu
- Choose More Toolbars from the expanded menu
- Click on Zoom to display the Zoom toolbar which contains the Pan functionality
- Position the Zoom toolbar where you prefer in your interface by clicking and dragging the toolbar handle
If you want to add only the Pan icon to your Standard toolbar like the previous versions,
- Customize your Standard Toolbar. Go to Window > Toolbars > Toolbars...
- In the Customize Toolbar Window, on the left column, set All commands in alphabetical order.
- On the right column, select Standard
- Back to the left column, look for the Pan command. Click >>Add selected>>
- On the right column, position the Pan command by dragging it up/down.
- Select OK.
