Why is the BIMx 3D view slow?

When navigating in the 3D view of BIMx, you experience significant slowness or lag. The 3D model takes longer to render, and movements such as panning, zooming, or rotating are delayed. This behavior is consistent across different models and persists even after restarting the application.

Solution

This issue is caused by the Anti-Aliasing setting being enabled, which increases rendering demands on your device. Disabling Anti-Aliasing can improve performance in the 3D view.

1. Open BIMx and load any 3D model.
2. Tap the Settings icon (represented by a gear symbol) in the left side panel of the screen.
3. Scroll down to locate the Anti-Aliasing option under the Graphics Settings section.
   
4. Toggle Anti-Aliasing to Off.
5. Exit the settings menu and return to your 3D model to verify improved performance.
