Issue description
When working in the 3D window, you notice a gray frame, which could also be two bars at either the sides or the top and bottom of the 3D window. These bars restrict the visibility of your workspace and affect the way you navigate through your 3D model.
Solution
This happens when the Render Safe Frame is enabled. This feature displays a frame in the 3D window to indicate which part of the model will be included in the final 3D rendered images, created using Archicad's internal rendering engine. To control this setting:
- Go to Document > Creative Imaging.
- Click on Apply Render Safe Frame to toggle it on and off.
This will remove the grayed-out frame, allowing you to see and navigate the full content of your 3D window.
TIP: the size of the Render-safe frame is determined by your Render Size settings in the PhotoRendering Settings.
