Issue Description
While working in 3D view in Archicad, some of the elements have a wireframe appearance. There are no active Graphic Overrides in the View nor Design Options. How can I correct this?
Solution
This happens when the affected elements belong to a layer that has been set to wireframe mode in the Layer Settings. While there is no direct keyboard shortcut for this, it can be unintentionally triggered when adjusting layer visibility or modifying Layer Combinations. If a layer is accidentally set to wireframe, any elements assigned to it will display as wireframe in 3D.
- Go to Document > Layers > Layers (Model Views)..., or open the Layers window from the Quick Options Bar.
- Select the Layer Combination applied to your 3D view.
- Find the layer/s of the affected elements.
- Click the shaded/wireframe icon for the selected layer to toggle between these display mode options for 3D.
- Update the existing Layer Combination
- Click OK.
TIP: This setting is independent of the current 3D mode set in the View > 3D View Options menu.
