Issue Description
You have set up a Renovation Filter for your Elevation or Section views, in which elements with the renovation status New are set to Override so that they are highlighted in a different color. Despite having cover fills/vectorial hatching active for uncut elements, under Elevation/Section settings > Model Appearance, these elements appear with a transparent fill and an outline in a highlighted color.
Solution
This issue is caused by the Renovation Filter's Graphic Override rules, in which, by default in the Archicad template, the surface of New elements is changed to Glass when the override is applied. To change this, follow these steps:
- Open the Renovation Filter Options dialog box.
- Via Document > Renovation > Renovation Filter Options...
- or by clicking on the Renovation filter icon in the Quick Options Bar.
- or from the Renovation filter dropdown menu in the Renovation Palette.
- Select the New elements category.
- Check if the Override setting is applied.
- If the override is active, click on Graphic Override Rules...
- Identify the rule that changes the surface to Glass.
- Disable this rule or change the surface setting to a non-transparent material.
- Click OK to apply the changes.
