How to remove stair numbering on certain plans?

Issue Description

The Stairs of the project are being displayed both on Floor Plan and Site Plan. However, the numbering of the Stairs are not scale sensitive thus overlapping with other elements in the Site Plan scale.

Is there a way to remove the numbering on the stairs on Site Plan drawing only but retain it on Floor Plan?

Solution

Content of Stair Symbol Plan view can be controlled in the Model View Options. To do this:

1. Go to Document > Model View > Model View Options…
   
2. Create a new Model View Combination which will only be used for the Site Plan drawing.
3. In the Stair Options tab, deselect all text-based elements such as Numbering, Up/Down Text and Description.
4. Click OK to Save.
   
5. Go to the View Map. Select the View then go to View Settings.
   
6. In the View Settings, make sure to set the Model View Options to the modified Combination.
7. Click OK to save.
