How to correct railing posts that extend beyond the railing reference line?

Issue description

When a railing is modeled in Archicad, the end node of the railing reference line uses the center point of the rail posts as its end point. How can I correct this behavior to achieve a seamless end point for my railing?

Solution

Posts are automatically placed at either end points or nodes with the Railing tool. You can modify the offset of these posts from each node in the Railing Selection settings.

1. Select the railing then go to Railing Selection Settings. 
2. In the Node settings under the Node tab, change the Number of Posts and Offset to “Two” then set the offset value equal to the radius of the post. 
3. Click OK to apply the changes.
