After upgrading to macOS 15 Sequoia, nothing happens after clicking on 'Sign in', 'Sign out', or 'My Profile' in the License Manager Tool.
Sign in
The 'Sign in' button works as expected when the License Manager Tool does not show any licenses, however, nothing happens if at least one key-based license is downloaded to a computer.
When a software key is downloaded
Issue: The 'Sign in' button does not work when a software key is downloaded to a computer.
Solution: Click 'Upload' and proceed to 'Sign in' in the new pop-up. Besides signing in, this will also result in the license upload which can be downloaded immediately after.
When a hardware key is plugged in
Issue: The 'Sign in' button does not work when a hardware key is plugged into a computer.
Solution: Unplug the hardware key before starting the License Manager Tool, sign in, and insert the key.
When one or more keys are not accessible
Issue: The 'Sign in' button does not work when one or more keys appear with the 'Key Content is not Accessible' error message.
Solution: Please follow the below steps only if no working licenses are downloaded to the computer.
- Download the attached file, unzip it and double-click on the .prefPane file to install the CodeMeter Preference Pane.
- Open System Settings > CodeMeter and click 'Stop Service'.
- Navigate to MacHD/Library/Application Support/CodeMeter and delete the 'CmAct' folder.
- Open System Settings > CodeMeter and click 'Start Service'.
- Re-open the License Manager Tool and sign in.
Sign out
Issue: After clicking on 'Sign out', nothing happens.
Solution: Re-open the License Manager Tool.
My Profile
Issue: After clicking on 'My Profile', nothing happens.
Solution: Open this link to navigate to your profile.
