Issue Description
When you open Archicad, you may encounter a "License Not Found" error. This issue often arises when upgrading from an older version of Archicad or after a new version has been released. The error typically indicates that your license requires an update.
Solution
The "License Not Found" error occurs because your license needs to be updated to be compatible with the current version of Archicad. Here's how to resolve this issue:
-
Access the License Manager Tool.
- If you have Archicad installed, the License Manager Tool is automatically installed on your computer.
- If not, you can download it from the Graphisoft website.
-
Update Your License.
- After opening the License Manager Tool.
- Sign in with your Graphisoft ID if prompted.
- Select your License/Licenses and Click on the Update button. This will initiate the update process.
- Wait for the update to complete. This should only take a minute.
-
Verify the Update.
- Once the update is complete, you can close the License Manager Tool.
- Restart Archicad to ensure the updated license is recognized.
TIP: Licenses managed by the License Manager Tool will automatically update when necessary, but manual intervention may be required for certain license types.
