Nested hotlink modules cannot be skipped during the hotlink referencing process.

Multiple Archicad files are integrated as hotlinks (.pln) or hotlink module files (.mod), such as floor plans, into a parent Archicad project file that also contains its own drawing content.

This parent file is then intended to be referenced as a hotlink in another file, but only with its own drawing content—excluding the floor plans from the already linked Archicad files.

However, the hotlink reference always includes all content from all Archicad files, and the nested hotlink modules cannot be excluded.

Skip Nested Modules

File > External Content > Place Hotlink...

The option Skip Nested Modules must be enabled during the hotlink placement process:
