Issue description
How can I efficiently publish hotlink modules using a Publisher Set in Archicad to organize and export .mod files for single or multistory hotlinks?
Solution
Although saving a module file is possible from the File menu, we recommend using the batch method
of Publisher Sets to publish .mod files.
The process of creating a dedicated Publisher Set is an efficient way to organize parts of the model and save them in one step:
- Open the Publisher Sets palette via File > Publisher Sets > Publisher or the Organizer (Window > Palettes > Organizer).
- In the Publisher Sets panel, create a new Publisher Set or use an existing one to include your hotlink modules.
- Drag and drop views from the Organizer onto the Publisher Set that contain the elements for the hotlink module, and then add the view to the Publisher Set.
To filter which stories will become part of the hotlink, you can select the hotlink from your publisher and click on the Options... button.
Saving .mod files from the Publisher also helps to determine single or multistory hotlinks more
easily in the saving options of the Publisher Set’s format.
