Issue description
The zone tool was used to document a floor plan, and the label tool was applied for annotation. However, when displaying areas etc. the measurement units, such as square meters, do not appear. How can measurement units be shown on zone labels?
Solution
Adjusting the Label Selection settings can display measurement units on zone labels. Follow these steps:
- Select the zone label tool then go to Label Selection settings.
- Under the General Settings subsection in the Symbol Label Custom Settings tab, check the option to “Show units.”
This activates the display of measurement units for areas like square meters or feet.
To customize units independently of the project preferences, use the dropdown options to select specific units or formats.
By enabling this setting, zone labels will now display area measurements along with their respective units, enhancing clarity in your documentation.
