Issue Description
When drawing or editing elements, the cursor snaps to certain points away from the mouse, often making it difficult to place elements precisely. This irregular snapping behavior disrupts workflows and may affect the accuracy of your designs. How can this be managed or disabled?
Solution
The issue occurs because the Grid Snap feature is enabled. Grid Snap aligns the cursor to predefined points on the construction grid, which can affect precision when drawing.
To resolve this:
-
Verify the Snapping Points:
- Turn on the Construction Grid Display to see the grid and snapping points.
- Navigate to View > Construction Grid Display to enable this view.
-
Disable Grid Snap:
-
Navigate to View > Grid Snap and ensure the feature is disabled.
- Grid Snap can also be toggled on or off using the shortcut Shift + S.
-
Navigate to View > Grid Snap and ensure the feature is disabled.
