Issue Description
When downloading your software key you get an update error: Key content is not accessible.
Solution
This can have different causes. Here is a troubleshooting list that can help you resolve the issue:
1. Ensure the user account on your operating system has full read and write permissions for the necessary folders:

- Steps:
- Right-click on the folder, select Properties.
- Go to the Security tab.
- Check and update the permissions for your user account to allow Full Control.

- Steps:
- Right-click on the folder, select Get Info.
- Scroll to the Sharing & Permissions section.
- Ensure your user account has Read & Write permissions. Use the lock icon to make changes if necessary.

2. Check Firewall and Network Settings
If you control network communication via a firewall, proxy, or similar system:
- Allow License Manager Tool to communicate with Graphisoft’s servers.
- Ensure that no rules are blocking access to the required services.
3. Disable Security Software Temporarily
For the duration of license management:
- Completely disable all antivirus, firewall, and other security software.
Important: Some security solutions require more than just suspension; they need to be fully turned off.
- Double-check after system updates (e.g., Windows updates) that security settings haven’t reverted to default.
4. Reinstall License Manager Tool and CodeMeter
If the issue persists, reinstall both License Manager Tool and CodeMeter driver:Uninstallation

- On Windows: Use Programs or Add or Remove Programs in the Control Panel.
- On macOS: Navigate to the GRAPHISOFT/License Manager Tool folder and run the uninstaller.

CodeMeter:
- On Windows: Use Programs or Add or Remove Programs in the Control Panel.
- On macOS: Use the uninstaller included in the CodeMeter installer package.

Note: After uninstalling, check the following folders for leftover files and delete them:

Reinstallation
- Download the latest versions of both tools from the GRAPHISOFT Downloads site.
- Install CodeMeter Driver first, then the License Manager Tool.
- Restart your computer after installation.
Retry the License Management Process
After completing the steps above,
- Launch the License Manager Tool and try to download or upload the license again.
