How to publish selected layouts to a BIMx file?

Is there a way to export only selected layouts to a BIMx file?

Solution

To publish selected layouts to a BIMx file, start by creating a dedicated Publisher Set specifically for the BIMx. This allows you to organize and manage the selected layouts efficiently for export.

1. Create a New Publisher Set:
   • In the Navigator, go to the Publisher Sets tab.
   • Click the (+) icon to add a new publisher set.
   • Name the set appropriately for easy identification.

   • Open the Publishing Properties for the new publisher set.
   • Ensure the option "Create a single file" is selected.
   • Under the Format section, choose BIMx Hyper-model.
   • Click OK to save the changes.

1. Add Layout Sheets:
   • Use the Organizer to add the required layout sheets to the new publisher set.
   • Drag and drop the desired layouts from the Layout Book to the publisher set.
   • In the publisher set, set the Publish Items option to "Selected items". This ensures only the selected layouts will be included.
