Issue Description
When working on a new project, consistency across files is essential, especially when managing properties. For instance, you might have previously created a detailed set of properties tailored to a specific project. Now, you wish to reuse this same property set in another project to maintain uniformity and save time.
Solution
Archicad allows you to export properties from one file and import them into another using the Property Manager.
In the source file, go to Options > Property Manager.
In the Property Manager, click Export in the lower left of the window. A pop up Export Properties window will appear.
In the Export Properties, select “All” if you wish to export all properties in the project. You may also include classifications as some properties are available only to specific classification. Click OK then locate the folder where it will be saved.
In the new file, open Property Manager. Select Import then locate the file.
This process ensures that your property sets, including their classifications, are preserved and reusable across different projects, eliminating redundancy and potential errors.
