Description
A project requires attaching an image of the actual floor finish that will be used. How can image fills be created and applied in Archicad?
Solution
Archicad allows the creation of image fills to represent actual finishes in your project. Follow these steps to add and set image fills:
- Go to Options > Element Attributes > Fills.
- Click the (+) New button to create a new fill type.
- Assign the fill to a folder (e.g., Flooring) for organization.
- In the pop-up window, set the fill type to Image Fill and click OK.
- In the fill settings, click Browse to upload your image.
-
Choose an image from the Surface Catalog or upload a custom image.
- Click OK to save your new image fill.
- Apply the created fill to the relevant element or area in your project.
