A project requires attaching an image of the actual floor finish that will be used. How can image fills be created and applied in Archicad?
Solution
Archicad allows the creation of image fills to represent actual finishes in your project. Follow these steps to add and set image fills:
Access the Fill Settings:

- Navigate to Options > Element Attributes > Fills.
Create a New Fill:

- Click the (+) New button to create a new fill type.
- Assign the fill to the appropriate folder, such as the Flooring folder, to ensure proper organization and documentation.

Define the Fill Type:

- In the pop-up window, set the fill type to Image Fill and click OK.
Add a Custom Image:

- For the newly created fill, select Browse to upload an image.
- Choose an image from the existing Surface Catalog or upload a custom image to represent your desired finish.
Save the Fill:

- After selecting or uploading the image, click OK to save your new image fill.
