Issue description
I need my plans to be dimensioned using the Imperial system, but every time I modify the dimensions in the Project Preferences, it goes back to Metric whenever I switch between drawings.
Solution
Dimensioning is included within the View Settings. Therefore, each time the drawing is modified, it is necessary to redefine the current view or manually adjust it within the View Settings, as outlined below:
Go to Options > Project Preferences > Dimensions.
To create a new dimensioning type, save it under a different name. To modify an existing one, use the same name to overwrite it. Click OK to confirm.
In the Navigator, go to the View Map of your drawing. Right-click on the view you’re adjusting and select "View Settings."
The navigator is positioned on the right side of the drawing interface. If it is not visible, please navigate to Window > Palettes and select Navigator to enable it.
In the Dimensioning section under 2D/3D Documents, select the modified or newly created dimensioning type. Click OK to save your changes.
