How can I set toolbars to only show icons?

Description

In a current workspace, the toolbars display both icons and text labels, making the toolbar area larger, and reducing available workspace. How can I set my toolbars to display icons only?

Solution

To customize the display of toolbars to only show icons in Archicad, and maximize workspace:

1. Go to Options > Work Environment > Toolbars.
2. In the Create or Edit Toolbar section, select your toolbar group.

3. Under Toolbar Options, choose Show Icon Only to remove text labels.

   

4. Repeat these steps for all active toolbar groups, if necessary.
5. Click OK to apply your changes.
