Issue Description
How do I use the Redshift engine in Archicad?
Solution
Archicad’s integration with Redshift works via the Cineware by Maxon engine, allowing you to render directly within Archicad using Redshift
1. Open PhotoRendering Settings
In Archicad, go to: Document > Creative Imaging > Photorendering Settings.
Under the Rendering Engine, choose:
-
-
- Cineware by Maxon as the engine.
- Redshift as the renderer (this option appears if Redshift is properly installed and configured).
-
2. Once Redshift is selected, you can configure:
-
- Lighting (e.g., physical sun, HDRI environment).
- Materials (make sure Redshift-compatible materials are used for the best results).
- Render Quality (resolution, sampling, etc.).
3. Render Your Scene
-
-
- Hit the Render button to start the process.
- Since Redshift is GPU-accelerated, ensure you have a supported graphics card for optimal performance. Check out the System Requirements.
