Description
How do I use the Redshift engine in Archicad?
Solution
Archicad’s integration with Redshift works via the Cineware by Maxon engine, allowing you to render directly within Archicad using Redshift
- Open PhotoRendering Settings via Document > Creative Imaging > Photorendering Settings.
-
Under the Rendering Engine, choose:
- Cineware by Maxon as the engine.
- Redshift as the renderer (this option appears if Redshift is properly installed and configured).
- Once Redshift is selected, configure the following:
- Lighting (e.g., physical sun, HDRI environment).
- Materials (make sure Redshift-compatible materials are used for the best results).
- Render Quality (resolution, sampling, etc.).
- Click the Render button to start rendering your scene.
- Since Redshift is GPU-accelerated, ensure you have a supported graphics card for optimal performance. For details, check out the System Requirements.
