Issue Description
All stairs need to appear in a specific color on the floor plan for easier identification and visual clarity. A Graphic Override is applied to achieve this color differentiation, but despite the settings, the stairs remain unaffected. Why is the Graphic Override not influencing the appearance of the stairs?
Solution
Stairs in Archicad are unique because they can be composed of various materials. Due to this complex composition, Graphic Override settings based on Surface or Building Material criteria may not consistently apply to stairs as they do to simpler elements. This complexity can lead to unexpected results when using overrides intended for elements with more uniform materiality.
To effectively apply a Graphic Override to stairs, consider setting criteria that target a distinct and consistent attribute of the stairs, such as the Element ID.
